Just one day after the Pre released on O2 in Germany Palm decided to grace them with a handful of new apps. Now we here in the US are getting a bit jealous of the special treatment but hey we got the Pre 4 months earlier.
Initially there were two apps we saw that were in German, those being VZ-Netzwerke and ran but shortly after they were pulled as German apps will not be included in the US version of the App Catalog. The two free apps released are The Weather Channel and billiger.de.
After just a single day the Germans have already gotten paid apps, lucky them to have them so soon after launch. These apps included Match’em for $0.99, My Loaned Items for $1.99 and TechTray for $.0.99. These apps are all pretty useful so we have yet to see an app of lesser quality being offered up, let’s hope Palm keep on the ball with this one.
