Every big name superstar in Hollywood owes there career to one moment and one role that gave them the platform to showcase their talents and kick on to the next level, whether it be a role in a movie or a television series. When it comes to the hit HBO fantasy drama series Game of Thrones, we have seen many relatively unknown people becoming household names around the world.
One such lucky lady is the beautiful and talented actress Emilia Clarke, who has become best known for playing the role of Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, which has opened up many more doors for her. Emilia was quite lucky though, as she was not the original actress in the role for the pilot episode but instead was brought in to replace Tamzin Merchant.
Now, Emilia Clarke has become one of the most sought after actresses on the planet and, while Game of Thrones is still one of the biggest shows on television, the actress does also have other projects going on in her career. One such project is the upcoming movie Me Before You, which sees Emilia starring alongside British actor Sam Claflin.
Me Before You is set to hit the big screen on June 3 in both the US and the UK. Meanwhile, we can continue to see Emilia Clarke as Daenerys in Game of Thrones which continues to air on HBO in the US and Sky Atlantic in the UK.
